First apartment, first time nobody else is quietly doing the cleaning. I can handle dishes and laundry, but the less obvious jobs—bathroom surfaces, floors, changing bedding, wiping the fridge—pile up until I spend half a Saturday catching up. I'm trying a ten-minute daily reset plus one bigger task each weekend. What chores actually need a calendar reminder, and which are easier to do whenever you notice them?

I’d keep the ten-minute reset and add one rotating weekend task. Floors one week, bathroom the next, fridge another week. That keeps it from turning into a whole-house event.
Do you do the rotating task on the same day every week, or just whenever the house looks ready for it?
Same day worked better for me. If I leave it loose, I start bargaining with myself and nothing happens.

Put bedding and bathroom surfaces on the calendar. Those are the ones that quietly drift until they get annoying.

Fridge shelves too, in my opinion. Not every week, but enough that you don’t discover a science experiment behind the mustard.
