The plants nearest my window get wonderful light but will be pressed against cold glass in winter. Moving them a meter into the room feels safer for temperature but drastically reduces the available light. I have a pothos, a peace lily and a few less forgiving plants. Would you move everything at night, use a plant stand set back from the glass, or supplement light farther indoors? I want to avoid a constant daily shuffle.

If you can give them a bright spot a bit farther in, a small grow light makes the whole thing easier. Not every plant needs the exact same window seat.
I was wondering that too, because a light seems less annoying than daily moving. Do you use it only in winter or all year?
Pothos will probably take the compromise fine. The less forgiving plants are the ones I'd babysit near the cold and put back only if they re...
