Fix pronunciation now or speak more and clean it up later?

I am still at the stage where making a full sentence takes effort. I notice a few sounds I pronounce badly, and when I focus on them my speech gets even slower.

Is it better to spend some time correcting those sounds early, before the habit gets stronger, or keep speaking and accept that pronunciation will be rough for a while? I am not aiming for a perfect accent. I mainly want to avoid building mistakes that are genuinely hard to understand later.
