First solo weekend after years of always traveling with friends

I booked a two-night trip alone and I am weirdly more nervous about the empty time than the transport or hotel. With friends there is always somebody to say "let's go there" when plans run out.

My current plan is deliberately light: one thing I want to do each day, a neighborhood to wander, and a restaurant or two saved. I do not want to schedule every hour just because I am afraid of being bored.

For a first short solo trip, was it better to have more structure or to leave space and get used to deciding in the moment?

That’s what I was hoping to hear, honestly. I keep wanting to fill the empty time just so it doesn’t feel wasteful.

Leave the space, but save a few low-effort options for it. A cafe, a park, a museum, whatever fits the city and your mood.
