Are 30-minute workouts worth it if the alternative is skipping?

Busy weeks keep turning my normal hour-long sessions into zero sessions. I can usually find 30 minutes, but I keep treating that as not enough time to bother.

My thought is to pick three or four movements, keep rest periods sensible and leave. No accessories, no trying to compress the full workout into half the time.

For people who train this way during busy periods, did you maintain progress reasonably well, or did the short sessions end up feeling too rushed?

Yes, if the choice is 30 minutes or nothing. I’d rather leave after a few solid sets than keep waiting for the perfect long session.

Short sessions worked fine for me during busy weeks. I kept the main lifts and cut the fluff, and progress was slower but still there.

Did you keep the same exercises, or switch to simpler ones? I’m wondering how much gets lost when the clock is tight.
