The cheapest flight leaves at dawn from an airport that's awkward to reach. A later flight costs more but departs from a station-connected airport, so we could sleep normally and skip an expensive early taxi. Once I add baggage fees and transport, the price gap narrows. Do you compare these choices by total door-to-door cost and hours of sleep rather than ticket price? I'm leaning toward the less dramatic morning.

The later flight wins a lot of the time in my head. Saving thirty bucks and losing sleep feels like one of those deals where the airport laughs at you at 5 a.m.
I only take the really early one if it clearly saves enough to matter. Otherwise I pay for the easier airport and enjoy not starting the tri...
